, CONCLUSIONS

As a conclusion, I think that information systems are very important in every organization. The other systems like data recognition equipment, communications technologies, factory automation, and other hardware and services are also involved. All of this system will be easier to manage the company properties like review snap that updated the performance of management system. Without this system, we can’t advanced our companies and compete with other organization around the world. Other example is single integrated system model. If the companies use this system, it will be easier, faster and effective in making decisions from the top management. So, each employee can get information that is provided by each department. Other than that, if the systems in the companies are good, so process of recruitment will be easier and our organization will be known around the world. As a result, many qualified candidates will attract to work as an employee.

, HUMAN RESOURCE RECRUITING AND STAFFING

All the company doing various techniques to identify, attract and hire qualified individual to work at their organizations (Cascio, 2006). However, there are many competition in the labor market and began to using the internet to attract job applicants. In the HRIS, I have learned that human resource also should expert in technology especially when we want to filled the vacancies in the company. We should not only just enter the requirements needed for candidates but the organization should plan how to resumes and screen out those applicants. The positive effects of recruitment is the company can attract highly qualified and competent people, ensure that the selected candidates stay longer with the company, make sure that there is match between cost and benefit and lastly help the firm create more culturally diverse workforce.

Now, I will explain about the meaning of recruitment. Recruitment is about attracting a pool of potential candidates can be selected by using application forms. The application should enable HR to make judgments’ on substantial matters such as the person’s education and to identify the person’s job references and supervisors. When we doing online recruitment, we should update the job description, job specification, and profile that our company needs. The job description explained about the activities and responsibilities of the job while job specification summarizes personal qualities, traits, skills, and background required to do the job. Internet recruiting is a cost-effective way to publicize openings; it generates more responses quicker and for a longer time at less cost than just about any other method. The important thing is, before we make a selection or staffing the employee, the companies have to do a tests, background investigations, and physical exams to identified viable candidates (Dessler. G, 2011).

Staffing process involves manning the organization structure through proper and effective selection, appraisal and development of the personnel’s to fill the roles assigned to the employees/workforce. According to Theo Haimann, staffing pertains to recruitment, selection, development and compensation of subordinates. For your information, staffing is an important managerial function because it is move along with planning, organizing, directing and controlling. The operations of these four functions depend upon the manpower which is available through staffing function. Second is staffing is a continuous activity. This is because staffing function continuous throughout the life an organization due to the transfers and promotions that take place.

, INFORMATION AND COMPETITIVE ADVANTAGES

The information revolution is sweeping through our economy. No company can escape its effects. Dramatic reductions in the cost obtaining, processing, and transmitting information are changing the way we do business.  Today, information technology must be conceived of broadly to encompass the information that business create and use as well as a wide spectrum of increasingly convergent and linked technologies that process the information. Apart from providing reliable and excellent IT services, IT should provide innovative solutions to business challenges. It is because, IT is no longer about supporting or automating a business but more about innovating, improving, and reinventing it.

A strategic information system is any information system that uses IT to help an organization gain a competitive advantage, reduce a competitive advantage or meet other strategic enterprise objectives. Competitive advantage usually occurs when an organization develops an attributes that allow it to outperform its competitors. These attributes can include access to natural resources or access to highly trained and skilled personnel human resources.

There are some ways to implement the basic strategies. Firstly, IT can help to reduce the cost of business processes and lower the costs of customers or suppliers like canon. It have built a low-cost copier assembly process from the software that controls parts inventory and selection. It is because the costs of documenting each companys participation are high.  The other strategies is differentiate products and services in our company with developing of new IT features. As a result, it can reduce the differentiation advantages between of the competitors. Next is we should think innovatively which is create a new products and services that include IT components to make radical changes to business processes with IT. As a result, it will cut costs, improve more quality, more efficient to satisfied the market demand. To make our company more strong and known in the world, we should develop alliances or business partners.

The important thing is a company should evaluate the existing and potential information intensity of the products and processes of its business units. So, i can conclude that information technology can help in the strategy implementation process. By using information systems, companies can measure their activities more precisely and help motivate managers to implement strategies successfully. The technology has given the organization the potential for forging sharp new tools that can produce lasting gains in market share.
