, CONCLUSIONS

Web based tools are very important to being implemented in each organizations especially in handling a compensation, learning and development, safety and health, and so on. It is crucial to develop a compensation strategy and practices that fits its circumstances. It is because, this system will bring the needed information to make pay decisions quickly, accurately, and in useful form. It is alright if the organizations do not know how to use this web tools. We can learn it through a web based employee learning and development system. It is because, ELD system is an effective and efficient system which helps individual employee and organization in preparing the employees with their future work and improves employee’s performance and the organization’s itself. It also can increase the employee’s knowledge, skill and attitude toward their current work, to ensure the employees can keep on competitiveness and will perform in their work and so on. Employees also would like to work in safety environment. So, the safety program is one way to save the lives of workers by reducing hazards and consequences and improve health in the workplace.

, WEB BASED COMPENSATION AND BENEFIT PLANNING

The compensation and planning is about managing the personnel expenses budget, setting the performance standards, setting the transparent compensation policies and introducing the competitive benefits for employee. The organization with effective compensation and benefits drives its personnel costs, manages the performance of employees and rewards the extraordinary performance.

This website has become a trend where almost every organization applying this system to prepare for salary planning budget and the level of salary increase to be paid based on the merits of each employee's performance evaluation, bonus allocation experience, and equity awards. The main purpose of this system is to bring the needed information to those who make pay decisions quickly, accurately, and in useful form because this system provides up to data information. Moreover, it provides proper, efficient workflow according to procedures and external compensation survey data.

The main advantages of web applications is 24/7 access. Users can access the program using a standard web browser anywhere and anytime they want without going to the office just to get information on compensation, salary and update their personal profiles. Employees can view their pay and benefits information and update their personal profile at home or even at vocation. Compensation based on seniority with the company shows that the organization appreciates employees' achievement and opted to stay with the company for the long term. This encourages new employees to continue to build their career in the organization and prevent workers from switching to another company.

Besides that, it can save time for HR staffs do not have to spend a lot of time to answer all questions asked from the employees. This is because every employee can access the HR department through the web provided includes current information about compensation policy, program description, an explanation of qualifications, new forms of compensation, and answer questions on the Web.

Each organization must develop a compensation strategy and practices that fits its circumstances. Compensation program is not the total responsibility of any one group in the organization. Top management must be involved in establishing the goals and policies of compensation. The compensation staff provides the expertise and can do the technical aspects of compensation. The supervisors are the people who see that the system is perceived as fair and motivates their employees. All three must be working together for a compensation program to achieve its goals.

, WEB BASED OCCUPATIONAL SAFETY AND HEALTH

Many of the organizations promote occupational safety and health at work for promoting safety and health in the community, education and training, consultancy services, research and strategies development and information dissemination. So, because of that, I would like to tell you first what the meaning of web based occupational safety and health is.

Web based Occupational Safety and health (OSH) is a procedure that every occupational must have a proper protocol that will protect the safety, health and welfare of people from any danger or risks resulting from factors adverse to health in their workplace or employment. This application can helps the organizations avoided employee injuries in the workplace and ensure that employees comply with OSHA standards through OSHA Compliance Assistance in their web based system that contains both online and written resources. These include e-Tools, factsheets on specific health and safety topics, employee training resources and guidelines for complying with specific regulations. This application will cover the usage of an internet-based diagnostic software system that will use an on-line interview process that will give a compliances profile for each facility that are covered by the interviews and even a comprehensive on how to do list to help the user on managing the compliances. Next the system must be capable to be automatically downloading, indexing, viewing and even printing the Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) file for future report purposes and updating the user profiles over the internet automatically.

For example in construction sites there are safety protocol that required the workers to always wear safety boots and helmet and other precaution steps to be taken to overcome any accidents from occurring. Before this the managers need to make a workshops or seminars to explain to the employee regarding occupational safety and health. These are the traditional ways of doing things, but with technology, the managers are able to make all the occupational safety and health steps standardized for each facility that follow according to the facility needs and will be uploaded it into the websites for the convenience of both employee and managers.

In the nutshell, accidents and illnesses related to workplace can give many negative impact to all parties, including employers, employees and their families. So, the safety program is one way to save the lives of workers by reducing hazards and consequences and improve health in the workplace.

, WEB BASED EMPLOYEE LEARNING AND DEVELOPMENT

Web-based tools have changed the way we approach employee learning and development. The world e-learning is becoming more complex every day, as new technologies are introduced and there are growing concerns related to tracking of results, security, and interoperability. According to (Collin, 2007), learning is the basis for any training and development activity. So, because of that ELD web based systems have been created and emphasize more on the career and future development for employees in companies.

The role of the Employee Learning and Development is to promote and support employee and organization growth, development and empowerment by providing innovative, quality workplace learning programs, resources and services. In this context, Maurer (2002) mention the significant of employees’ voluntary development and continuous learning has become extensively known as important to organization effectiveness.

There are several advantages of ELD system, which including cost and time effective, helps to empowerment and facilitation, as well as improve employee’s computer skills. All the information that related to employee’s training programs can well-recorded in the ELD system. Thus, through the ELD system, summary of employee training information could be accessed easily by the administrators of the organization such as human resource executives. On the other hand, employee’s computer skills will improve when they using computer to search what training that want to participate or during their training session. While there are also have three weaknesses of ELD system which are certain contents are not suitable to employees, need employees to know the basic skill and lastly was lack of human contact.

The Internet can supply to various individual or cultural learning styles, careful study of background information, viewing of diagrams or images, and interactive learning by doing. Comparison between ELD system and traditional paper-based ELD system is for computerization, it more self-service, no face-to-face communication and lastly inflexible.

The important thing is, ELD system needs to support by the decision of upper management, their budget, and learning culture in the organization. Serrat (2009) stated that a learning organization influence effectiveness in develop organizational. Because of that, there is no doubt that ELD system is an effective and efficient system which helps individual employee and organization in preparing the employees with their future work and improve employee’s performance and the organization’s itself. It also can increase the employee’s knowledge, skill and attitude toward their current work, to ensure the employees can keep on competitiveness and will perform in their work and so on.

, CONCLUSIONS

As a conclusion, I think that information systems are very important in every organization. The other systems like data recognition equipment, communications technologies, factory automation, and other hardware and services are also involved. All of this system will be easier to manage the company properties like review snap that updated the performance of management system. Without this system, we can’t advanced our companies and compete with other organization around the world. Other example is single integrated system model. If the companies use this system, it will be easier, faster and effective in making decisions from the top management. So, each employee can get information that is provided by each department. Other than that, if the systems in the companies are good, so process of recruitment will be easier and our organization will be known around the world. As a result, many qualified candidates will attract to work as an employee.

, HUMAN RESOURCE RECRUITING AND STAFFING

All the company doing various techniques to identify, attract and hire qualified individual to work at their organizations (Cascio, 2006). However, there are many competition in the labor market and began to using the internet to attract job applicants. In the HRIS, I have learned that human resource also should expert in technology especially when we want to filled the vacancies in the company. We should not only just enter the requirements needed for candidates but the organization should plan how to resumes and screen out those applicants. The positive effects of recruitment is the company can attract highly qualified and competent people, ensure that the selected candidates stay longer with the company, make sure that there is match between cost and benefit and lastly help the firm create more culturally diverse workforce.

Now, I will explain about the meaning of recruitment. Recruitment is about attracting a pool of potential candidates can be selected by using application forms. The application should enable HR to make judgments’ on substantial matters such as the person’s education and to identify the person’s job references and supervisors. When we doing online recruitment, we should update the job description, job specification, and profile that our company needs. The job description explained about the activities and responsibilities of the job while job specification summarizes personal qualities, traits, skills, and background required to do the job. Internet recruiting is a cost-effective way to publicize openings; it generates more responses quicker and for a longer time at less cost than just about any other method. The important thing is, before we make a selection or staffing the employee, the companies have to do a tests, background investigations, and physical exams to identified viable candidates (Dessler. G, 2011).

Staffing process involves manning the organization structure through proper and effective selection, appraisal and development of the personnel’s to fill the roles assigned to the employees/workforce. According to Theo Haimann, staffing pertains to recruitment, selection, development and compensation of subordinates. For your information, staffing is an important managerial function because it is move along with planning, organizing, directing and controlling. The operations of these four functions depend upon the manpower which is available through staffing function. Second is staffing is a continuous activity. This is because staffing function continuous throughout the life an organization due to the transfers and promotions that take place.
